TEHRAN - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin and the accompanying delegation arrived in Bam city of Iran which was devastated in last week's quake disaster.
State Minister Kursad Tuzmen, Health Minister Recep Akdag, Public Works and Housing Minister Zeki Ergezen, Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Ahmet Inal and Turkish Ambassador to Iran Selahattin Alpar take place in the delegation.
The delegation will determine urgent requirements of quake survivors, and convey Turkey's quick recovery wishes on behalf of the government.
After completing its visit to Bam city, the delegation is expected to proceed to Iranian capital Tehran.
An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit Bam city of Iran on December 26, 2003, killing nearly 35 thousand people, and injuring thousands of others.
