Foreign Trade Volume Becomes $11.2 Billion In October

ANKARA - Turkey has broken a record by exporting goods of 4 billion 693.4 million U.S. dollars in October of 2003.
The Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) stated on Saturday that the foreign trade volume of Turkey became 11 billion 281.4 million U.S. dollars in October.
Meanwhile, Turkey imported goods of 6 billion 588 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
In the January-October period of the year, Turkey's foreign trade volume became 93 billion 887.9 million U.S. dollars.
The foreign trade deficit was announced as 17 billion 253.7 million U.S. dollars in the first ten months of 2003.
