ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 190.7 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 56 quadrillion 86.6 trillion TL between December 12-19, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 55 quadrillion 895.8 trillion TL on December 12.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 901.1 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 723.8 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 169.4 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 48 quadrillion 712.5 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 579.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
