Olimpia, a Türkiye-based manufacturer of automotive window panes, has opened a regional office in Adana. The company supplies glass to major European vehicle brands including Mercedes, Volvo, New Holland, and McCormick.

Chairman Mehmet Zenginer said Olimpia produced 725,000 square meters of auto glass in 2006 and has set a production target of 900,000 square meters for 2007. Roughly half of all output is exported.

Zenginer also highlighted the company's role in the domestic insurance sector. By sourcing replacement windows locally rather than importing them, insurers have cut their claims costs by an estimated 50 percent, saving around 10 million YTL annually. Olimpia replaced windows on approximately 40,000 vehicles last year, and the partnership with insurance companies began six years ago.

Founded 42 years ago, Olimpia operates two factories and 10 regional retail outlets, supported by 199 authorized service points across Türkiye.
