IZMIR - "1st International Congress of Eurasian Archeology" will take place in Aegean city of Izmir from May 8th to 11th.
Congress Chairperson Semih Guneri told A.A today that Turkish culture will be discussed in Eurasia concept in international level during the congress.
Guneri said 200 participants from 30 countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, China, Spain, Belgium, USA, Britain, Germany, Japan, South Korea and Greece, would present their reports and over 1,000 applications were submitted for the congress.
Four researchers who have had crucial contributions to the studies on Ancient Eurasian Nomadic Cultures (archaeology, philology, history, ethnology, history of art) and had international publications in the field of Eurasia over the last two decades will be awarded with "The Institute of Anatolia & Eurasia Respect of Labour Prizes" at the end of the congress.
