RIYADH - The Israeli-Palestinian dispute, recent developments in Iraq and the regional issues have been high on agenda of the meeting between Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is currently paying a state visit to Saudi Arabia, and King Abdullah bin Abd al-Aziz al Saud on Saturday.
Erdogan and King Abdullah bin Abd al-Aziz al Saud exchanged views over efforts to prevent clashes in the region and to protect Iraq's territorial integrity.
King Abdullah bin Abd al-Aziz al Saud thanked Turkey for its contributions to provide peace and stability in the Middle East.
He also highlighted importance of Turkey's and Prime Minister Erdogan's leadership to establish regional peace.
Meanwhile, Erdogan said that economic and commercial relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia should be further improved.
