ANTALYA - "Perge Pilsener", Turkey's first beer that is produced from natural spring water has taken its place at the stores of chain markets.
Abdullah Taskiran, the sales and marketing manager of the producing firm Sural Group, told A.A that the beer has been offered at tourist facilities in and around southern city of Antalya for three years.
Taskiran said they have started selling Perge Pilsener to the markets and the company's annual production capacity is 500,000 hectoliters.
Emphasizing that beer production from natural spring water is a first in Turkey, Taskiran said raw materials and top staff for the production are from Germany.
"Since there are many German tourists at the touristic facilities, we have high demand (for the beer). Now we are using 70 percent of the production capacity. We will offer new products in the upcoming days" said Taskiran.
