ISTANBUL - An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted the eastern city of Elazig at 13:05 local time on Wednesday.
Istanbul-based Kandilli Observatory & Seismology Institute said that the earthquake was centered in Sivrice town of the city.
The quake was also felt in adjacent areas.
According to local authorities, there were no casualties.
