ANKARA - "If there is a problem among Muslims, we should solve them through dialogue and peaceful means," Turkish FM Abdullah Gul said today.
Gul and his Iranian counterpart Manuchehr Motaki held a joint press conference following their meeting in capital Ankara.
It is not true that there are two different poles in the region, said Gul and warned that polarization will emerge if no intervention is made to such polarization tendencies and if dialogue is not established.
"We have never considered it a meeting against Iran," Gul said when reminded that Iran is not among the participants of the meeting that will be held in Pakistan this weekend.
Gul added, "we would never attend it in such a case."
On the other hand, Motaki said that he shares Gul`s views and added that they do not consider it a meeting against Iran when commenting on the same matter.
