ISTANBUL - About 5 billion USD of bids have been submitted for the public offering of the Tepe-Akfen-Vie (TAV) Airports Holdings Corp, a statement by the Garanti Investment said today.
According to the statement, TAV shares are expected to be traded in the Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) on February 23rd.
Of the shares on offer, 69 percent were aimed at foreign institutional investors.
TAV is a joint venture company TEPE and AKFEN Construction, promoting and conducting new business in airport construction, financing, passenger terminal operations and related consulting services on an international basis.
TAV has been awarded with the construction and BOT (build-operate-transfer) projects inside and outside of Turkey since 2003. The projects are investment, construction and operation of Ankara Esenboga New Domestic & International Terminal, Izmir Adnan Menderes International Terminal and Tbilisi and Batumi Airports.
