IZMIR - The 13th International Natural Stone and Technology Fair, "Marble", will take place between March 28th-31st at Kultur Park in western city of Izmir.
Speaking to AA correspondent today, Izmir Fair Co. (IZFAS) General Director Dogan Isleyen said that there was wide interest in the fair "which is viewed as the most important fair (natural stone) after Verona Fair of Italy."
Isleyen said there was a rising demand to participate in the fair among the companies in the sector and stated that they were trying to build additional halls to meet the demand.
Last year 952 companies from 37 countries participated in the fair which was visited by 45,558 people just in four days and contributed a sum of 70 million USD to the Izmir economy.
