PILOT PROJECT STARTS IN NOVEMBER IN ANTALYA
ANKARA - A single number, "112", will be utilized for all emergency calls (fire, medical, police and gendarmerie) in Turkey.
The pilot project will begin in southern city of Antalya in November and will later be used throughout Turkey.
All calls made from cellular phones will receive a verbal message.
