ISTANBUL - Industry and Trade Minister Ali Coskun returned from Pakistan to Turkey on Sunday.
Coskun attended the 11th general assembly of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Scientific and Technology Committee in Islamabad.
Coskun told reporters at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport that they found the chance to inform participants about Turkey's scientific and technological studies in meetings and stated that Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf would pay a visit to Turkey in the coming months.
Upon a question on assassination attempts on Pakistani President Musharraf, Coskun said, ''in fact there have been two sabotages... When he was on the way to his house, a blast happened and after one or two minutes, another blast took place. Musharraf later hosted a dinner. He received us one or two hours after the incident. He was in good mood and he acted as if nothing happened. We expressed our sorrow. President Sezer and Prime Minister Erdogan called him on the phone and expressed their sorrow.''
Coskun added that they thought that international terrorism could only be solved by international cooperation.
