Erdogan Receives Iranian Ambassador To Turkey

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan received late on Saturday Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Firuz Dolatabadi.
Sources said that Erdogan proposed to send prefabricated houses which were not used in Turkey to Iran in the wake of the devastating earthquake in Bam city of Iran.
The sources noted that Dolatabadi welcomed Erdogan's proposal.
Then, Erdogan asked Public Works and Housing Minister Zeki Ergezen to launch initiatives to send prefabricated houses to Iran.
Erdogan recommended that it would be better to build permanent dwellings instead of temporary dwellings.
Prime Minister Erdogan said that Turkey was ready to fulfil its responsibilities to help Iran in the wake of the quake disaster.
