ANKARA - Health Minister Recep Akdag said on Saturday that 79 volunteer health personnel and more than six tones of medical equipment reached Iran. He said, ''we are in a position to send new teams to Iran in case there is any request.''
Replying to questions of reporters, Akdag said Turkish people were deeply affected by the quake disaster in Iran, noting that their studies started after obtaining first information about quake.
Akdag said a special team from Kocaeli and Bursa, who got training on health organization in disasters, reached Iran.
