ANKARA - Turkish Ambassadors to 15 EU countries, the United State and TRNC came together on Friday for the second time to assess EU and Cyprus policies to be pursued in the year 2004.
Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul chairs the meeting.
The ambassadors discuss the recent developments in Turkey-EU relations, the policies to be pursued and developments about Cyprus within that process in the meeting.
The ambassadors had an evaluation meeting on Thursday under the leadership of Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal and they were later received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is also expected to receive the ambassadors after their meeting today. Ambassadors will brief Erdogan about the results of the meeting.
