MUGLA - Mugla Governor Huseyin Aksoy said on Thursday that seven persons were taken into custody and three persons were wanted in connection with the ship which sank while carrying foreigners illegally to Rhodes island of Greece from Marmaris last Saturday.
Speaking in a news conference, Aksoy said that they detained Mesut Gerdan (29), Kemal Turkmen(39), Hakký Anýl Ozcan (24), Server Ishan (30), Habibullah Dobay (from Afghanistan) (37), Javed Abdulshakoor (27) (from Afghanistan), Mohammed Orag (26) and they were searching for Ekber from Iran, Hasan from Iran and Cafer Aydýnlýk in Istanbul for getting involved in human smuggling.
Meanwhile three dead bodies were found in coasts of Datca town of Mugla.
The sole known survivor of the shipwreck, Hassan Dadhkanýmakovt, an Iranian told investigators that some 70 people were aboard the boat when it sank in the Mediterranean Sea Saturday.
