ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 279 million U.S. dollars between December 12 and December 19, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 31 billion 932 million U.S. dollars on December 12, increased to 32 billion 211 million U.S. dollars on December 19.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 1 billion 5 million U.S. dollars from 13 billion 137 million U.S. dollars to 14 billion 142 million U.S. dollars between November 28 and December 5.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 1 billion 2 million U.S. dollars from 45 billion 741 million U.S. dollars to 46 billion 743 million U.S. dollars between November 28 and December 5.
