ANKARA - Ankara Chief Prosecutor`s Office postponed on Tuesday execution of imprisonment term of Necmettin Erbakan, the banned leader of the Welfare Party (RP) and the current leader of the Felicity Party (SP), for one year.
Erbakan was sentenced to two years and four months of imprisonment on charges of ``forgery in documents`` in the case publicly known as ``lost trillion.``
SP General Administration Board member Seref Malkoc and Erbakan`s lawyer Yasar Gurkan submitted the report of Health Board of Ankara Numune Hospital to Ankara Deputy Chief Prosecutor Bekir Selcuk.
Selcuk later met with Ankara Chief Prosecutor Huseyin Boyrazoglu.
Ankara Chief Prosecutor`s Office postponed execution of Erbakan for one year.
