Turkey Obtains An Income Of $71.5 Million Through Exports Of Hazelnut

TRABZON - Turkey obtained an income of 371.5 million U.S. dollars through hazelnut export on the 16th week of the export season.
According to figures of Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters' Association, Turkey gained 371 million 546 thousand 242 U.S. dollars by exporting 103 thousand 782 tones of hazelnut in the 16th week of 2003-2004 season that started on September 1.
In the same period of the previous season, Turkey had exported 141 thousand 118 tones of hazelnut and obtained an income of 316 million 212 thousand 945 U.S. dollars.
