ANKARA - Turkey-Thailand Third Joint Economic Commission (JEC) meeting will be held in Bangkok on December 22 and 23.
Releasing a written statement, Foreign Trade Undersecretariat said on Monday that Foreign Trade Undersecretary Tuncer Kayalar would chair Turkish delegation, while Thailand delegation would be headed by Permanent Secretary of Foreign Affairs Tej Bunnag.
Commercial relations between two countries will be revised and measures that can be taken to develop bilateral trade in a balanced and healthy way will be discussed during the meeting.
Sides will discuss new cooperation facilities and ways of developing existing cooperation on the fields of customs, free zones, standardization, joint investments, small and medium scale enterprises, ship construction industry, agriculture, environment, air transportation, science and technology and tourism.
Sides will sign a memorandum of understanding including the issues that are agreed.
