Türkiye will serve as the official partner country at this year's Hannover Messe industrial fair, scheduled for 16–20 April in Hannover, Germany. The announcement came at a press conference held at the German Consulate General in Istanbul, where Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) board chairman Murat Yalcintas outlined the country's participation.
More than 250 Turkish companies are expected to attend, with roughly 2,500 square meters of exhibition space reserved for Türkiye's stands. Firms confirmed to display products include BOTAS, TAV, IGDAS, Arcelik, and Hema.
Yalcintas said Turkish business representatives would use the event to forge commercial ties with international participants. Several side events focused on investment and business opportunities in Türkiye are also planned around the fair.
The partnership was formalized when Yalcintas and Hannover Messe Senior Vice President Wolfgang Pech signed an agreement at the close of the press conference.
