The meeting was held with the initiative of Slovakian Ambassador Jan Varso in the Greek Cypriot side.
Following the meeting, Varso told reporters that following meeting would be held on January 38, 2004.
Varso said that the participants exchanged views about solution of Cyprus issue.
The participants also stressed that ''process till May 1 was important for accession of a united Cyprus to European Union (EU),'' Varso noted.
Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Mehmet Ali Talat said that majority of Turkish Cypriots were in favor of solution.
Talat stated that ''they were in favor of joining EU as a united Cyprus after reaching an agreement by negotiating Annan plan.''
Turkey was not against Annan plan, Talat said.
Talat noted that Ankara had many times stated that the plan could be negotiated and changed.
''Turkey was not preparing a new plan,'' Talat said.
