Dulger: There Is A Critical Situation In Cyprus

ANKARA - Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Mehmet Dulger said on Saturday that there was a critical situation in Cyprus, adding that ''we should very carefully tell the things that need to be told in order to set up the balance once again.''
Speaking to reporters about the commission's official visit to Bulgaria which took place between 17-19 December, Dulger said that the commission met with all the high ranking administrators of the Bulgarian state and parliament expressing his pleasure over the improvement of the economic and political relations with Bulgaria.
Dulger said that 2,000 Turkish entrepreneurs were in Bulgaria.
Responding to questions of reporters about the statements of Prime Minister Erdogan and TRNC President Denktas, Dulger said that ''the elections determined the result. I think there is a very fragile situation in Cyprus. The things that need to be told to set up the balance have to be told very carefully. At the end of the elections, it has been seen that the supporters of Annan plan don't want to give Cyprus to anybody, and opponents of Annan plan don't want to isolate TRNC. A mid-way is on the agenda, I am sure it will come to a balance.''
When asked whether he was also thinking that Denktas should change his advisors, Dulger said that it was a very delicate issue, adding that the point which Cyprus policy reached today was not related with the advisors. He said that it was necessary to be very careful. He added that the important thing was to reach a common understanding and it was not very difficult.
