KOCAELI - Two workers who died and seven others who were wounded in the explosion at Turkish Oil Refineries Corp. (Tupras) facilities in northwestern city of Izmit were identified.
Two South African workers who died in the explosion were identified as Michael Advert Mekog (47) and Ayanda Zuma (29). Five Turkish personnel who were injured in the blast were identified as Haci Basri Artvinli (37), Hakan Yuceer (24), Oguz Bulent Ozcan (42), Omer Uzun (50) and Ismail Yurt (45), while two injured South African workers were identified as Penuel Sibisi (24) and Hdawoyakbe Vincent Dube (36).
