NATIONAL-100 INDEX INCREASES TO 17,742.44 WITH A RISE OF 296.74 POINTS
ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Thursday's second session increased 296.74 points to 17,742.44 and shares increased 1.70 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous first session.
At the close of the second session, the financial index increased 472.07 points to 24,414.44, the industrial index increased 196.92 points to 15,526.92 and the services index increased 88.98 points to 9,429.05.
The financial shares gained 1.97 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 1.28 percent in value, and the services shares gained 0.95 percent in value.
A total of 129 of the 290 shares gained in value, 93 shares lost in value, and the price of 68 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume in the second session was 393.2 trillion Turkish liras (TL), and daily trading volume was 1.16 quadrillion (TL).
