ANKARA - Treasury held on Tuesday two auctions to sell 91-day discounted reference bonds and 700-day state notes denominated in Turkish lira (TL).
The Treasury sold 2 quadrillion 221.6 trillion TL of nominal-valued bonds in both auctions.
In the 91-day discounted reference bond auction, the total bid had been 1 quadrillion 258.5 trillion TL while the Treasury sold 1 quadrillion 133.4 trillion TL of nominal-valued bonds.
The net sale became 1 quadrillion 70.5 trillion TL.
The composite interest was 25.65 percent while the simple interest became 23.5 percent in this auction.
The bonds will be issued on December 17, 2003 and repaid on March 17, 2004.
In the 700-day state notes with 12.5 percent interest repayment once in six months, the total bid had been 1 quadrillion 852.3 trillion TL.
The Treasury sold 1 quadrillion 88.2 trillion TL nominal-valued bonds and its net sale was 1 quadrillion 107.8 trillion TL.
The composite interest was 26.58 percent while the simple interest became 25.02 percent.
The state notes will be issued on December 17, 2003 and repaid on November 16, 2005.
Treasury will repay 1 quadrillion 704 trillion TL in domestic debt this week.
