ANKARA - Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf will pay an official visit to Turkey in January.
Musharraf will hold meetings in Ankara and Istanbul in the second week of January.
Musharraf will meet with President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Chief of General Staff Gen. Hilmi Ozkok, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and other officials in three days.
Bilateral relations, regional and international issues including Iraq, Afghanistan, Middle East, Cyprus, Kashmir and also fight against international terrorism will be taken up in meetings. Sides will exchange views within Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and Iraqi Advisory Group.
Gul had conveyed the invitation of Sezer to Musharraf during his visit to Islamabad in spring.
