Number Of Tourists Visiting Antalya Increases 43 Percent In December 2003

ANTALYA - The number of tourists visiting southern Antalya province increased 43 percent and reached four million 790 thousand 265 in December, 2003 when compared with the same period of 2002.
Antalya Provincial Directorate of Tourism and Culture stated on Monday that a total of five thousand 669 tourists arrived in Antalya by airways yesterday.
A total of 56 thousand 957 tourists visited Antalya in the first half of December by increasing 43 percent when compared with the same period of last year.
The number of tourists visiting Antalya since the beginning of year is four million 790 thousand 265. This figure was four million 937 thousand 733 last year.
