Industrial Production Increases By 9.4 Percent

ANKARA - Industrial production increased by 9.4 percent in the third quarter of 2003 (July, August, September) over to the same quarter of the previous year.
The State Institute of Statistics announced on Monday results of the quarterly industrial production index for the third quarter of 2003.
According to the results, production in mining sector rose by 9.7 percent, 9.2 percent in manufacturing sector and 10 percent in electricity, gas and water sector.
