NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 17,468.88 WITH AN INCREASE OF 513.68 POINTS
ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Monday's first session increased 513.68 points to 17,468.88 and shares gained 3.03 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 848.61 points to 24,096.28, the industrial index rose 352.69 points to 15,321.33 and the services index climbed 186.47 points to 9,075.85.
The financial shares gained 3.65 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 2.36 percent in value and the services shares gained 2.10 percent in value.
A total of 220 of the 286 shares gained in value, 32 shares lost in value and the price of 34 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 930.6 trillion Turkish liras.
