ANKARA - Treasury will hold two auctions on December 16, 2003 to sell 91-day discounted reference bonds and 700-day state notes denominated in U.S. dollars.
The maturity of 91-day discounted reference bonds is announced as March 17, 2004, and the maturity of 700-day state notes is set as November 16, 2005.
On December 9, Treasury held an auction to sell 679-day state notes denominated in U.S. dollars.
The composite interest rate became 4.49 percent in the auction and the simple interest was 4.44 percent.
The total bid had been 1 billion 198.3 million U.S. dollars while the Treasury sold 451.9 million U.S. dollars of nominal-valued state notes. The net sale became 459.4 million U.S. dollars.
Meanwhile, Treasury will repay 1 quadrillion 704 trillion Turkish lira in domestic debt next week.
