President Sezer Telephones His Azerbaijani Counterpart Aliyev To Extend His Condolences

BAKU - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer has telephoned President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, and expressed his profound sorrow over demise of former President Haydar Aliyev.
During the telephone conversation, President Sezer recalled that bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan had reached the current perfect level as a result of efforts of Haydar Aliyev.
''I believe that our relations will further improve in the future,'' he added.
Meanwhile, President Aliyev of Azerbaijan thanked Turkey for commiserating with them.
He stressed that he would pursuit his father's domestic and foreign policies.
