Parliament Speaker Arinc: I Commiserate With Azerbaijani People

ANKARA - Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc has said that he commiserated with Azerbaijani people, adding, ''I believe that Azerbaijani people would continue progressing on the path of Haydar Aliyev for peace and stability both in Azerbaijan and in the region.''
Arinc released a message on Saturday upon demise of former President Haydar Aliyev of Azerbaijan.
In his message, Arinc expressed his profound sorrow over demise of Aliyev who had been receiving medical treatment in the United States for a while.
''Aliyev had expended great efforts and made valuable contributions to Azerbaijan's acquiring its independence, reaching prosperity and taking a distinguished place in international platforms. His demise is a grave loss both for Azerbaijan and the world. I commiserate with Azerbaijani people. I believe that Azerbaijani people would continue progressing on the path of Haydar Aliyev for peace and stability both in Azerbaijan and in the region,'' he added.
