ANKARA - Turkish Health Minister Recep Akdag met his Saudi Arabian counterpart Hamad bin Abdallah al-Manai in Ankara on Monday.
Speaking at a joint press conference Akdag recalled that al-Manai was the first ever Saudi health minister to visit Turkey and said that the two countries aimed at taking concrete steps to improve cooperation in health issues. Akdag also stated that a joint cooperation group will be established to this end.
Al-Manai invited Turkish firms operating in health sector to his country, saying, "Saudi Arabia is ready for cooperation and its doors are wide open."
