ANKARA - Turkish parliament will debate developments in Iraq in a closed session tomorrow.
The parliament session will start at 7.00 p.m.
This will be the fifth closed session on Iraq in four years.
The last closed parliament session on Iraq was held in 2003. In one of these closed sessions, the parliament had rejected a controversial bill on March 1st, 2003 that would allow foreign troops in Turkey and authorize government to send Turkish troops to Iraq.
No one, except ministers and deputies, will be allowed to enter the hall during closed session. Corridors, rooms and offices around the hall will be emptied. Only hearing-impaired parliament staff will be on duty during the meeting.
No statements about the session can be made because of confidentiality. Discussions at the session will be regarded and kept as secret of state.
The minutes can only be made public ten years after the sessions.
