NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,955.20 WITH AN INCREASE OF 286.32 POINTS
ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Friday's second session increased 286.32 points to 16,955.20 and shares gained 1.72 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous first session.
At the close of the second session, the financial index increased 551.20 points to 23,247.67, the industrial index increased 125.53 points to 14,751.48 and the services index increased 54.61 points to 8,889.38.
The financial shares gained 2.43 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 0.85 percent in value and the services shares gained 0.62 percent in value.
A total of 110 of the 290 shares gained in value, 98 shares lost in value, and the price of 82 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume in the second session was 1.24 quadrillion Turkish liras (TL), and daily trading volume was 1.69 quadrillion (TL).
