ANKARA - Turkish Red Crescent`s aid arrived in the earthquake zone in Tutak town of eastern city of Agri.
Blankets, tents, gas heaters and foodstuffs were immediately transported to several villages which were mostly affected by the moderate earthquake on Sunday, said Turkish Red Crescent.
The organization said donations are accepted for those affected by the earthquake.
On the other hand, another aid organization, Lighthouse Association has sent aid to Tutak, including food sets, blankets, diapers and cleaning agents.
An earthquake, measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale, shook eastern city of Agri`s Tutak town on Sunday morning.
Agri Governor Halil Ibrahim Akpinar aerlier said no casualties were reported but some houses were damaged.
