ANKARA - A Turkish worker, who was injured in a plane crash near Baghdad, was brought to Turkey on Saturday.
A medical aircraft, which was sent to Baghdad by Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim, brought Abdulkadir Akyuz to Ankara.
Akyuz, the only survivor of the crash, was taking medical treatment at a hospital in Baghdad. Akyuz will be moved to a hospital in Ankara.
On January 9th, a Moldovan cargo plane, which took off from Adana (Turkey), crashed as it was trying to land at an airport near Baghdad, killing 34 passengers and crewmen, including 29 Turkish workers.
