NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,668.88 WITH AN INCREASE OF 117.26 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Friday's first session increased 117.26 points to 16,668.88 and shares gained 0.71 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 175.30 points to 22,696.47, the industrial index increased 91.63 points to 14,843.11 and the services index rose 30.83 points to 8,834.77.
The financial shares gained 0.78 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 0.62 percent in value and the services shares gained 0.35 percent in value.
A total of 58 of the 286 shares lost in value, 141 shares gained in value and the price of 87 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 452.2 trillion Turkish liras.
