ISTANBUL - A group of people marched to Taksim district of Istanbul to protest assassination of Hrant Dink, editor-in-chief of bilingual Turkish-Armenian weekly Agos, on Friday.
The group started a sit-in protest in Taksim, and shouted slogans.
The number of protestors reached 350.
They will continue their protest till 8.00 p.m. and then march back to building of Agos newspaper in Halaskargazi street.
On the other hand, a photograph of Dink (decorated with carnation) was put in front of the building of Agos newspaper.
Dink was shot in front of his office building in Sisli district of Istanbul, and died instantly at the scene. Police detained two suspects.
