BERLIN - "Qualified work is the priority of Turkey's employment policy," said Turkish Labor & Social Security Minister Murat Basesgioglu on Friday.
Basesgioglu delivered a speech on "qualified work" at an informal meeting of EU labor ministers in Berlin.
He said, "while talking about 'qualified work', we think that it is more beneficial to exert efforts for cooperation and coordination between national policies. We should also support national policies to pursue social state model in rising global competition milieu."
On Thursday, Basesgioglu and German Labor & Social Security Minister Franz Muentefering signed a common intent document envisaging development of cooperation between the Turkish and German labor and social security ministries.
