ANKARA - U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns met National Security Council (MGK) Secretary General Yigit Alpogan in Ankara on Friday.
The meeting was closed to press.
Burns arrived in Turkey on Thursday as the guest of Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ertugrul Apakan.
He was received by Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday.
Burns will meet Turkish FM Abdullah Gul today.
