BURSA - The value of textiles and apparel exports from the northwestern city of Bursa reached 1.5 billion USD.
According to data of the Uludag Exporters` Unions, the textiles and apparel exports from Bursa had been 578.8 million USD with an increase of 7,2 percent in 2006.
In textile sector goods were exported to 9 free zones 116 countries and autonomous areas while in apparel sector goods were exported to 7 free zones and 98 countries and autonomous zones.
Germany, Russian Federation, Romania, Italy and England were the countries where most of exports from Bursa was directed to.
