National Education Minister Celik Examines Internet System Of Schools In Sweden

STOCKHOLM - National Education Minister Huseyin Celik met on Thursday with officials of Cisko system in Sweden about internet and informatic system which was planned to be established in schools in Turkey.
Celik visited Rinkebyskolan school in Stockholm where Turkish students were educated.
Celik listened to the problems of teachers and parents of students. He said that they made an agreement with Transportation Ministry and they would establish an internet system in schools in Turkey, adding that they would examine internet system in schools in Sweden and they would discuss this issue with officials of Sisko firm.
Celik wanted Turkish citizens who were living in Sweden not become pessimistic about Turkey and added that Turkey could reach the European Union (EU) standards within five years and the biggest advantage of Turkey on the issue was its young population. He said that if Turkey could educate its young population, it would be an advantage for Turkey.
Celik then attended the dinner in which Nobel prizes were awarded.
