ANKARA - US Ambassador to Ankara Ross Wilson said on Monday that Washington took serious Turkey`s concerns over Kirkuk, which he qualified as a "sensitive" issue.
"The US, Turkey and Iraq cooperate in relations. Turkey and the US are allies," Wilson told a reception on the occasion of the inauguration of a new English daily in Turkey.
"Only through dialogue we can encourage Iraqis to maintain peace and stability," Wilson added.
