ANKARA - TUSAS Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) will modernize Jordanian F-16 war jets, sources said today.
Under a contract signed by TAI and Jordanian Air Forces, two jets have been disassembled and are ready for renovation.
First F-16 jet will be modernized in October 2007. Meanwhile, 12 planes will be renovated in TAI facilities, and five others will be modernized in Jordan under the supervision of TAI engineers.
The modernization of 17 F-16 war jets will be completed within 41 months.
