LEFKOSA - TRNC Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu said on Tuesday that many fights were given until the foundation of TRNC, adding that Turkish Cypriots would not leave their territories.
Addressing his party (National Unity Party) meeting in Girne, Eroglu said that TRNC developed every day and Greek Cypriots also saw those developments when the border gates were opened last April.
Noting that Annan plan was a plan to destroy Turkish Cypriots, Eroglu said that the plan foresaw end of equal sovereignty, the fact of two peoples and the effective guarantee of Turkey.
Eroglu said that they were after an agreement in Cyprus which would be based on sovereignty, equality and the effective guarantee of Turkey.
Meanwhile Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas said in his party (Democrat Party) meeting in Lefke that ''Turkish Cypriots will erase opposition parties on December 14.''
Accusing EU Commissioner for Enlargement Guenter Verheugen of interfering with elections in TRNC, Serdar Denktas said that Verheugen tried to create chaos in TRNC.
''I am speaking to Verheugen:Turkish Cypriot people will win the elections and there will be no chaos in TRNC after the elections,'' he said.
