NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,941.13 WITH AN INCREASE OF 27.82 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Tuesday's first session increased 27.82 points to 16,941.13 and shares gained 0.16 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 127.29 points to 23,088.57, and the services index decreased 4.88 points to 8,927.37 while and the industrial index decreased 38.32 points to 15,049.25.
The financial shares gained 0.55 percent in value, and the services shares lost 0.05 percent in value while the industrial shares lost 0.25 percent in value.
A total of 111 of the 285 shares gained in value, 93 shares lost in value and the price of 81 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 766.2 trillion Turkish liras.
