ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will attend European Union (EU) Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the European Union to take place in Brussels.
Sources said on Tuesday that Erdogan would participate in EU heads of state and government summit to be held in Brussels between December 12 and 13.
Erdogan will once more express Turkey's determination in EU process and its target to get a negotiation date at the end of 2004.
In the meetings, participants will take up necessity of cooperation in fight against cooperation and cooperation opportunities in the wake of the bomb attacks in Istanbul.
Participants will debate EU constitution draft, new reforms, preparatory works of 10 countries which will became full member in May 2004, and foreign, defense and economic policies of the union in the summit.
